AIRBOURNE: U.K. Tour Rescheduled For March/April
November 19, 2009Australian rockers AIRBOURNE have announced that their intended February U.K. headline tour has been delayed due to an unforseen scheduling conflict. Originally at the start of a full European tour, the U.K. dates will move to the end, and kick off in the U.K. instead now from March 29. This now means that the U.K. fans will have a chance to hear the album well before the band hits the stage in the U.K.
All tickets bought for the original "No Guts, No Glory" dates remain valid.
The full list of dates is as follows:
Mar. 29 - Portsmouth - Guildhall

Tickets are on sale now priced £15 regionally, £17 London, and €19.50 for Dublin (subject to a booking fee) and are available from all usual box offices and online at www.livenation.co.uk. There is also a 24-hour credit card hotline on 0844 576 5483. All dates are all ages though under-14s must be accompanied by an adult.
The band's second album, "No Guts, No Glory", is due for release on February 22. It was written in a disused Antipodean pub that the band all used to work in and had their first gig at. Recording took place in Chicago with Johnny K at the production helm and the result is currently being mixed by Mike Fraser at Warehouse Studios in Vancouver.
When asked what the record is about, Joel O'Keefe, the band's gregarious frontman, laughs, "It's about rock 'n' roll, women, fighting, and drinking!"
As previously reported, AIRBOURNE has been added to MÖTLEY CRÜE's "The Dead Of Winter" Canadian tour in January/February. Also appearing on the bill as "special guests" is THE JOE PERRY PROJECT.
"No Guts, No Glory" follows up the band's 2008-released debut, "Runnin' Wild", which went on to sell upwards of 250,000 units worldwide and earned the band heaps of critical accolades.
